Life sadly is about illusions; how you see someone ebbs and flows, to your own make up / day to day ups / downs. Dreams get shattered in times like these.
Ultimately, woman want to see a guy who grafts for them, and lets say 10 issues ever between any couple, then how many are going to be perfect? 5/6, the rest you have to work on and if she starts getting down about not being appreciated (alias she does not know why this is but often because she is not seeing what she wants in a guy, work ethic, lack of trust, she can start to become controlling etc.
Many times you see men who are great at business but unfaithful and they get away with it for a long time.
Some women don’t want manners or respect. They want success in business and not to give much in return.
NICE can mean WEAK, which is often the reverse as those people are happy in their own skin, and are stronger for it.
It seems toxic woman are around!

If you compare the movie “Pretty Woman”, I believe Julia Roberts like Richard Gere because he was successful in business, and he respected her deeply even though she was just a hooker.
Rick, I agree in part with you. There are a lot of freeloaders out there, and many just want to use the man financial but they will only stick around if they continue to get respect from their man.
In your situation, you were dealt a hard blow by joining up with a freeloader that only loved your money.

There’s a few out there that doesn’t require respect due to the life (secret) they’re leading. They may feel that they don’t deserve respect because of how they are feeling about themselves. They may be badgering themselves to the point that “it doesn’t matter what someone else thinks, they’ve already analyzed themselves.
I would always love, RESPECT and appreciate me first.

Mar 24, 11 at 10:57 pmHow true for the comment of being nice. I had a good relationship going and respected her. But once I started being nice she saw it as a type of weakness and moved on.
I don’t understand it completely but it’s true and all women are different.
I’ll be careful next time in how I show my appreciation before they take it the wrong way. She mistook my caring attitude towards her. I have learned from this because of her.
